Two bridges span the moat between the Imperial Palace plaza and the palace via the Seimon main gate. The first bridge is named "Seimon Ishibashi," nicknamed "Meganebashi." The second bridge behind the first is "Seimon Tetsubashi." Although most people think these two bridges together are called "Nijubashi Bridge," this name actually refers only to the second bridge.
