Denboin-dori Street

Denboin-dori Street is a street which intersects Nakamise Street near Sensoji temple in Asakusa. It is about 200 metres long and lined with stores and shops. Many shops sell Edo period wares such as Edo Kiriko style cut glass and other items that feature the skills of seasoned artisans. Attractions are lined up to imitate the Edo city and will make you feel like you stepped back in time to the Edo era. There are many stalls along the street, such as dango shops (sticky rice balls glazed with sweet sauce on stick) and menchi katsu shops (deep fried breaded meat pate), enjoy the tastes of the Edo period while you stroll around.
