Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple (Hongwan-ji Tsukiji Betsuin)

Tsukiji Hongwanji was first constructed as a branch temple of Kyoto's Nishi Hongwanji in Yokoyama-cho, near Asakusa, in 1617. Thereafter, it was relocated several times due to rezoning and fire, before being rebuilt in Tsukiji in 1934.
