Tokyo Tower is 333 meters high and was built in 1959. For half a century following its construction, the tower broadcast radio waves to households throughout the Kanto region, but now is used as a backup radio mast.
The tower has an observatory at 150 meters from which you can see a panoramic view not just of Tokyo but across the Kanto region. Tourists still flock to visit the tower.
