Designed by famous manga and anime artist Leiji Matsumoto, the Himiko boat looking like a spaceship has been cruising between Asakusa and Odaiba since March 26, 2004. Matsumoto used a teardrop design on the Himiko to make kids want to ride it. Also, inside the boat, you can hear characters from "Galaxy Express 999," Matsumoto's most famous manga. Characters like Tetsuro Hoshino, Maetel, and the Conductor are broadcast over the PA system, making you feel like you are traveling with them.
