Hashigui Rocks

Hashigui Rocks

Hashiguiiwa Rocks, which is a group of pointed rocks standing in line of 850 meters on the seashore, creates magnificent scenery. Only hard parts of rocks remained by sea erosion, which produced a strange look of evenly lined up bridge poles. According to the legend of Saint Kobo and Amanojaku (a character depicted as a perverse monster), Saint Kobo made the rocks overnight after promising to build a bridge for the night.
